Illustrated catalog of two temporary exhibits put on in Spring 2008 in the Liverpool area (at the Prescot and at the Williamson Museums) by the Northern Section of the AHS describing the highlights and history of horology in northwest England. Produced in connection with the 2008 convention of the AHS. Pieces exhibited include Harrisons No. 1 clock, Mudges first marine chronometer, as well as Mudge blue and Mudge green, several more Mudges, and chronometers by Arnold (several), Earnshaw, Berthoud, Motel, Breguet et cetera Good selection of Prescot watches, plus tools, turret clocks and Liverpool longcase clocks.
