Glossy, color illustrated catalog of one month (oct/nov 2011) temporary Exhibit at La Veille Russie in New York of selected mechanical wonders (id est automatons and luxury watches) from the Sandoz Collection (including many items usually exhibited at Chateau des Monts in LeLocle) combined with the launch of 2 Parmigiani Fleurier wristwatches inspired by pieces from the Sandoz Collection. Exhibit includes 71 objects (including 3 imperial egs by Faberger (Swan, Peacock and Yousoupoff egg), and a very rare French mechanical panting with changing scenes, numerous automaton watches, and humanoids (the Citern Player and Mother Shipton) and animated animals (catepillars, mouse and 2 peocock [the enamaled one from the peacock egg, and the standalone golden one). Introductory text of 32 pages outlines the historic connection between the Sandoz collection and La Veille Russie.
