Clocks made by the Kroeger dynasty, a memnonite family of Germanic clockmakers in Prussia, Poland and the Ukraine. From circa1700 in Reimerswalde, West Prussia (Peter Krueger I circa 1730-1770, Johann II 1754-1823, Heinrich II 1761-1823, )to the village of Rosenthal in the Ukraine ( Johann II 1754-1823, Abraham III 1791-1872, David IV 1829-1909, David V 1860-1920, Johann V 1863-194?, Peter VI 1890-1942). A total of 475 Menonite/Ukrainian clocks are known, 80% bearing the name Kroeger. Stories about 50+ examples are listed in the book. Richly illustrated in color (164 illustrations)
