Written 1955 and used by the Elgin Watchmakers College to teach the "Fundamentals of Watchmaking" course, this is a good watchmaking lesson with lab book. Its focus is on the mechanics of watch repair more than theory. The lessons are hands-on and instructional. Not just for beginners, even a seasoned watchmaker could find one or two things not previously known, or learn a different approach to something. There many beautiful, hand-drawn illustrations in the book. This is a historical, practical, easy to use, relevant, detailed, watch repair course in one compact book. |
